As the sun was setting, we grabbed some flashes and headed out to the vineyard to capture some photos of Jennifer and Mason. The sun dipped below the horizon, but it wasn’t quite dark yet. We knew we wanted to do some night shots, but after these sun set photos the rest of the night had a pretty strict schedule. So, I set my flash to 1/1 and we just made the most of dusk. These photos were some of my favorite from this Daniels Vineyard wedding, continuing a trend that previous wedding I shot and then dovetailed out into the rest of my work throughout the year.
Muncie Wedding with Kristen and Tyler
The sun was setting and it was time to run outside to make use of the beautiful light. Unfortunately, by the time we were able to get outside, the sun had already dropped below the horizon. I looked at my second shooter, Ryan, and asked him if he’d been able to find any places which still had some great light. Ryan suggested using off camera flash and just getting a little creative. I’m so glad he did because those photos ended up being some of my favorite photos of this last year. So glad this Muncie wedding with Kristen and Tyler was so much fun and that we were able to capture so many beautiful moments throughout their day.
Lockerbie First Look Wedding with Candace and Bryon
I had a ton of fun capturing this amazing wedding in video format! Jenn was there leading the photography side of things while I was leading the video side of this project! Candace and Bryon were so amazing together and the night was a ton of fun! A huge thanks to my friend Evan for second shooting with me at this wedding! Below is a photo Jenn shot while I was doing some slow motion night shots of the couple. Under that is the video. 1899 Indy Wedding Chrissy & Kris
The sun was setting behind 1899 and golden light was streaming through the windows and illuminating the the chairs all aligned for the wedding. In the middle of the aisle, two white chairs were placed next to each other in the center of the window light. Chrissy and Kris sat in the chairs, so close that their knees touched, as the opened and read the letters they wrote to one another. As they read the letters, tearing up a little bit (or maybe that was just me), they leaned over to kiss.

Modern Baroque - Behind the Scenes
Here's a video we made behind the scenes of the modern baroque style shoot that Jennifer Van Elk Photography did at 1899. The shoot was awesome. So many great vendors came together to make this idea come to life. We are so blessed that we were able to be a part of it.
