As the sun was setting, we grabbed some flashes and headed out to the vineyard to capture some photos of Jennifer and Mason. The sun dipped below the horizon, but it wasn’t quite dark yet. We knew we wanted to do some night shots, but after these sun set photos the rest of the night had a pretty strict schedule. So, I set my flash to 1/1 and we just made the most of dusk. These photos were some of my favorite from this Daniels Vineyard wedding, continuing a trend that previous wedding I shot and then dovetailed out into the rest of my work throughout the year.
I had so much fun capturing Jennifer and Mason’s wedding! They were such a fun couple. I remember at the engagement shoot Jennifer told me she really just wanted to look like Carrie Underwood. Well, I might be a bit biased because she is my client and these are my pictures, but she looked better than Carrie Underwood. There’s a photo in here of wedding dress hanging up on some shelves with wine bottles over some stairs. So, this wedding was awesome not only because I got to shoot spectacular clients, but also because I got to put the skills my brother has been teaching me at the climbing gym to use as I had to scale the wall with the shelves to hang the dress (I mostly just walked around on a very safe concrete slab, but that doesn’t sound as cool or dramatic).
